Edge Unicorns

Posting an awesome picture is a great way to start off the new year :^)
Be careful, these are some bad bad unicorns- their edge is sharp enough to seriously hurt someone~

I'm seriously loving this picture, the improvement is very noticeable! The depth, especially in Sunset's face, looks very natural and well put together.
I'm also noticing that you've got some hard shadows mixed in with the soft shading, which is really good- having a mix of the two adds realism.
The texturing in the hair is also very nice, though I think having more prominent shading along with it would make it even better- perhaps try using a multiply layer clipped onto the hair layer to try out some shading. That's what I do at least
